Hand made color blocks were lovingly carved by artisans to create this print on 100% luxurious Habari silk from Aleppo. Classic black with subtle pops of navy and red makes this one of a kind hijab one you can dress up or down.
Habari Silk faces declining production due to the war. VELA honors this heritage with our unique representation, celebrating Syria’s rich cultural heritage of ancient textiles and paying homage to this timeless fabric. By purchasing you’re helping us preserve and revive a disappearing art form.
Each of these scarves features a custom print, and minor imperfections are a normal aspect of each piece, adding to its uniqueness. Please handle the delicate fabric with care and hand wash only.
