I recently ordered the Brown Kuffiyah hijab from Vela, and I absolutely love it! At first, I wasn’t sure how it would look on me as a brown girl and wanted to get maroon instead, but it ended up being so cute. The design is gorgeous, and I really appreciate that it’s not as see-through as some of the other hijabs I’ve tried from Vela. The quality is definitely there! Though I do wish I got the mini size (it was my first time and by mini I thought it would be superrrr small) as the standard hijab has a lot of fabric, but it really depends on how you decide to style it!
What makes me love it even more is knowing that part of the proceeds go to Palestine. It feels good to support such an important cause while also representing Palestinian culture through fashion.
The only downside was the delivery—when the tracking said it arrived, it never actually did. That was super frustrating, but I really appreciate Vela’s customer service for quickly sending me a replacement without any hassle.
Also, Vela, if you’re reading this—please restock Deep Berry!! 🙏

Website said product would arrive in 5-7 business days. On the 7th business day, when I checked, the order was still in process and hadn't shipped. I asked if I could cancel the order because it wouldn't get here in time, and was told no. Rules only apply to the customer, not the business. Do better.
