Her heartfelt poetry is rendered in flowing black Arabic script against a light latte backdrop. Crafted on 100% Mulberry Silk, this luxurious neutral hijab is a forever piece.  Designed in collaboration with beloved Artist @KweenKaraza. VELAs are uniquely crafted in batches, variations are expected.

Size is very small

No complains of the quality but had to return it due to its size. I wish they decide to bring it in a bigger size because this size is not functional at all.

Beautiful, but…

I really adored the meaning and design of this scarf. The fabric is a thin, elegant silk, not like the thick, metallic silk scarves you’ll often find. It looked so elegant when I tried it on and I loved that it came in square. Sadly, my issue is with the coloring. Online, the background color looked more sandy. In person, it was a faint peach color. Would have been fine except I was specifically looking for a sandy colored scarf. Alas for that price I couldn’t justify keeping it so I had to return. I highly encourage vela to continue to manufacture this scarf but to try making it available in a variety of background colors!!
