We’ve all heard of the phrase "fast-fashion" especially from most apparel brands. Fortunately, VELA has taken a stance to promote sustainability by creating small capsule collections that are released throughout the year, to prevent excess fabric.

Sample Sales

This year VELA held an in person sample event, as well as an online sample sale! These sample sales encourage customers to purchase apparel and hijabs so that these extra items are not wasted. Sample sale events also help VELA from making use of hijabs that have different stitching, color patterns, etc., which ensures that every fabric is made use of and is not discarded. The remaining hijabs from these sample sales were donated to the local masjid as well.

Eco-Friendly Approach
