Ramadan is approaching and it is a time of reflection, generosity, and community. This year, VELA is proud to partner with Islah LA Academy to bring the spirit of giving to life in a tangible and lasting way. VELA is joining forces to create a much-needed playground for young students at Islah LA Academy—this is a space where every child can learn, grow, and truly enjoy being a kid. Because every child deserves a safe, joyful place to play and thrive in. 

A Hijab with Purpose

For the entire month of Ramadan, 100% of proceeds from our Solidarity Hijab Peacock Blue will go directly toward funding this initiative. This isn’t just a hijab; it’s a statement of support, a symbol of solidarity, and a step toward providing joy and play for the next generation.

Why a Playground?

Play is essential for childhood development. It encourages creativity, teamwork, and confidence, providing kids with the tools they need to thrive. Unfortunately, many under-resourced facilities need the boost that helps children flourish beyond the classroom.
