Match hijab to undercap for a sleek look:

Wearing a hot pink undercap with a green hijab is a bit crazy. So from now on let's try to match them or stay within the same color frame for a sleek and modern look. At the end of the day, do what makes you feel your best.

Wear magnet pins instead of needles or straight pins:

Magnets are a game changer for anyone new to the hijab. They are much easier to wear than pins and needles. I also recommend investing in strong ones such as VELA's magnets since they'll stay on through thick and thin environments. 

Use a hair straightener to iron hijab:

Walking out with a wrinkly modal hijab is a rookie mistake. If you're wearing a jersey or chiffon hijab, you can skip this step. But for the girls that live and die by modal hijabs, then iron your hijabs on both sides of the face for a cleaner look. You can even steam the entire hijab if you have the time. 

Style up the hijab to hold it in place and to look put together:

Putting on a nice color hijab is great, but try adding accessories to take it up a notch on days you feel fancy. You can do this by adding hoops, earring, or even flower pins. Get creative with it and do what suits you and your inner style. 

Keep “on the go” hijabs on deck:

Sometimes we don't have the time to fix our hijabs or even iron it. On days like these, make sure to have one piece of hijabs to throw on when you're in a rush. I prefer these on a day to day basis since they're so easy to wear and comfortable. 

Tie knots to keep hijab in place:

If you plan to jump off a plane to go skydiving or even go on a rollercoaster, you'll need to secure your hijab 10x more than usual, and it's possible. Do a mini knot in the back of your hijab after wrapping it to make sure it stays secure. For extra safety, add pins to the sides of your face to make sure it stays in place all day.
