I want to love all my velas because frankly I love supporting my Muslim and ethically made products. But since last year, I’ve noticed the hijabs are not as well made.. the seems are often times already apart upon delivery, they are so transparent that most of the time I hang them back for a different choice. They are to cover us not be a see through cover. I have over 65 velas and I can see the drastic change from the quality and sizing over the years. This isn’t motivation to purchase :-(
I love the print, but it had a strong chemical scent just like some of the other reviews have mentioned. I haven’t noticed that smell in the “lightweight modal” hijabs, but it’s noticeable in the other types of modals.
The material is soft and flowy, so easy to style and it sits perfectly on any kind of styling. Well recommended.
I used to avoid wearing blue in my hijab styling because I felt it didn’t suit my skin tone — but this Chocolate Shadow Blossom proved me wrong! I can confidently say I feel stunning in this collection.
